Lev is a designer and mixed media maker, with expertise in ceramics. He focuses on the contextualization of his products for clients through his art direction. Lev’s work brings together unexpected themes to tell stories through narrative video/photography. His practice currently draws inspiration from his experience as a footballer and ceramicist.

Lev is from Brooklyn, New York. After studying at Kenyon College and playing NCAA soccer (football) for 3 years, Lev finished his BA at Central Saint Martins studying ceramic design. He currently teaches pottery at Studio Pottery London, and Choplet when in Brooklyn. His teaching style is relaxed and emphasizes the full body nature of the craft, the connection between the mind and hands.
